Abandon Kansas Tour

Artist: Abandon Kansas

Title: Alligator

CD UPC: 707541847797

2015 album from the alt-rockers. Founded in Wichita, KS, Abandon Kansas began as an inside joke (a band in Kansas) inspired by a college sweetheart break-up. AK released their first independent album in 2007 You Build a Wall, I’ll Build a Ladder before signing with Gotee Records in 2009. While with Gotee, they released the We’re All Going Somewhere EP, and a second full-length in 2011, Ad Astra Per Aspera. After leaving Gotee Records in a mutual separation the band released an independent EP titled a Midwest Summer in 2013.For their third full-length, the band joined forces with producers Dustin Burnett and J. Hall in Nashville. Alligator, a sonically dark album, rich with melancholy and angst, has been years in the making. Abandon Kansas finally feels the creative freedom to be themselves again.
